Terms and Conditions

By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. What PiggyBankMath is, and is not

PiggyBankMath lets a parent set a rate, lets a child practice math, and keeps a running record of the resulting balance and of the payments the parent records.

Nothing in the app is financial advice, and it makes no claim about educational outcomes.

2. Who may use it

3. This is a free beta, and that has consequences

4. Your data

Your account data and your children's records belong to you. They are not used to train anything, sell anything or advertise anything. What is collected and how to export or delete it is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Deleting a child permanently destroys that child's balance, practice history, payouts and adjustments. There is no archive and no undo. The app warns you and offers a backup first, but the decision and its consequences are yours.

5. Acceptable use

Please do not:

6. Ending it

You can stop at any time by deleting your children and asking for your account to be removed. The service may be suspended or terminated if these terms are broken, or if PiggyBankMath is discontinued. If it is ever discontinued you will get reasonable notice and a chance to export your records first.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PiggyBankMath and its operator are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for lost data, or for any disagreement between you and your child about what was earned or paid. The record in this app is a convenience and a memory aid, not an authoritative financial statement, and any total liability is limited to the amount you have paid to use the service, which while it is in beta is zero.

8. Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially the date at the top changes and you will be emailed before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept the revised terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
